Business Envestors has been working with Kier Eastern, a regional construction company operating throughout the East of England, for a number of years. Working closely with staff from Kier Eastern we were able to help the company make significant environmental improvements, in particular to their waste management, which has saved them money and has won them a host of awards, including the Peterborough Evening Telegraph’s Green Business Award two years in a row.
Kier Eastern, won this award based on two core initiatives: developing and implementing a programme to reduce the amount of plaster-board used in new builds; and the continuation of maximising resource-efficient for core business in addition to key suppliers.
Kier Eastern have been working with Business Envestors since September 2004, and continue to work with the Business Envestors team to tackle their carbon emissions and improve their green credentials.
