This Carbon footprinting workshop has been designed using the Carbon Trust’s Carbon footprint calculator and looks to equip delegates with an understanding of what a carbon footprint is and some practical training on how to calculate and reduce the Carbon footprint for their own organisation.

This 1-day course has been specifically designed to give fundamental environmental information to those appointed to carry out ‘internal auditing’ within their organisation.  It will also be of benefit to those undertaking an initial environmental review of a small company (or perhaps a department within a larger organisation). 

This one day course is a nationally accredited certificate that aims to raise the awareness of environmental issues within the work place. Suitable for staff at all levels, this course aims to motivate staff to participate in new initiatives.

This tender training course is designed to help you win new business.  It incorporates everything you need to know about tendering, especially for the public sector.  Even if you have never tendered before then by attending this course it will give you the skills and information to be able to tender.

This five-day management course culminates in an exam, which also leads to a nationally recognised qualification that will qualify certificate holders to become recognised as “legally competent” in the eyes of both BS 8555 and ISO 14001.

Environmental legislation is an ever evolving area.  Keeping up with new legislation, including Site Waste Management Plans, WEEE and the pre-treatment of waste regulations can be hard, so why not learn more about new and impending legislation at this workshop.  The workshop will also include starting to develop a customised register of environmental legislation for your organisation, to make sure your businesses operations are legally compliant.

Integrated Management Systems (IMS) is a great way of interlinking existing systems such as ISO14001/BS8555 (EMS); ISO9001 (QMS) and ISO18001 (OH & S) into one cohesive system.  Using ISO14001 as a basis, the session will investigate overlaps between the three systems, and ultimately identify ways in which you can save your organisation time and money.

The primary aim of this 3-day course is to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge needed to enable them to conduct internal audits of environmental management systems, and the related environmental performance to ensure that these comply with the requirements of ISO 14001 and are effectively implemented.
